Worldbuilding
Each book in the Healian series is carefully constructed, not only in terms of suspense and intrigue, but also in the development of the characters and the world they inhabit. Time and attention are consciously devoted to both character growth and world expansion, allowing each book to offer a new perspective and deeper layers.
While The Lost Kynsera primarily revolves around Syrah and Zeth, The Marked Souls shifts the focus to Oryn, further exploring his past, motivations, and inner struggles. This way, a different character is given more space in each installment, making the world of Healian feel not only broader but also more personal.
This principle also applies to the setting. In The Lost Kynsera, we are introduced to Prezzie, the Healian capital, and the Valley of the White Mountains. In The Marked Souls, the world is further expanded with new locations such as the Dark Path and the Temple of Sylthara, each playing a unique role in the larger story.
With each book, the world of Healian grows—its history, its secrets, and its people. What begins as a kingdom with a dark legacy unfolds into a multi-layered universe where magic, power, and identity are central.
Syrah
Kynsera, heir of Healian
In The Lost Kynsera, Syrah was abducted from the magical Healian world and brought to the human world, where her memory was manipulated and she lived in human form. Everything changed when Zeth returned her to Prezzi. Back in her own world, the veil and the spell began to fall, forcing Syrah to rediscover her true identity. She is not only the Kynsera of Prezzi, but also the unyielding Sylthara of all Healian—a woman who rises from insecurity to pure strength.
